Altruism Slavery
Am I my brother’s keeper? vs. Am I my brother’s eternal slave? These are the two questions of ultimate concern that govern the worldview of the Democrat Socialist Party vs. Conservatism of the Republican Party since the founding of America’s Republic. If one can define altruism as “the belief in or practice of disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others” we can see that the Democrat Socialist Party has for hundreds of years been very adroit in exploiting a perverse form of altruism—whether one calls it, “Theodore Roosevelt’s ‘Square Deal’, FDR’s ‘New Deal’ and welfare state, Truman’s ‘Fair Deal’, LBJ’s ‘Great Society’ and Obama’s New Deal, Part 2, all confiscated and spent trillions of taxpayers’ money to improve the human condition, yet in all respects society is more ignorant, decadent, alienated and poverty-stricken than preceding generations of the past 100 years.” This was a major thesis I proposed in a 2011 Socratic dialectical essay titled, Symposium—Divine Command Theory—a work designed to give a systematic, historical and philosophical analysis regarding the origins, tactics and strategies of Liberal Fascism.
What did Ayn Rand actually mean when she wrote in her opus, The Fountainhead? “Don’t set out to raze all shrines—you’ll frighten men. Enshrine mediocrity—and the shrines are razed.” What about her idea that, “If physical slavery is repulsive, how much more repulsive is the concept of servility of the spirit?” What does that phrase mean in modern times in the early twenty first century? How are these two aphorism connected or related to each other? —If they in fact are related to each other.
Writer, Dr. Stephen Hicks, in a useful article titled, “Ellsworth Toohey’s Five Strategies of Altruism,” gives the reader an excellent analysis of a central passage in writer and philosopher Ayn Rand’s novel, The Fountainhead (1943) which was made into a fine movie in 1949. The opening passage reads:
The ethics of altruism holds that others are the standard of value. One is good to the extent one puts the interests of others first, acts to achieve their interests, and, when necessary, sacrifices one’s interests for their sake. In The Fountainhead, Ellsworth Toohey is the major strategist of altruism, and in my reading he uses five distinct variants of altruism to achieve his ends: (1) Altruism as a policy of collectivism for the purpose of mutual self support; (2) Altruism as a tactic of the weak to protect themselves against the strong; (3) Altruism as a tactic of the weak to get support from the strong; (4) Altruism as a strategy of the weak to get power over the strong in order to rule them; and (5) Altruism as a strategy by the weak to destroy the strong out of envy, hatred, or revenge.
The Devil takes off his mask in my favorite part of the movie near the conclusion in Ellsworth Toohey’s classic monologue, which Ayn Rand models in large part after the ubiquitous British Socialist, Walter Laski (also a champion of American Progressives including Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes who in 1926 wrote a letter to Laski that, “An new untruth is better than an old truth”). Toohey, a propaganda journalist, holds to a worldview which glorifies Marxism, Socialism and Liberal Fascism or Progressivism. Toohey’s soliloquy in The Fountainhead can be distilled into these seven [7] demagogue declarations –
- Make Man feel small.
- Kill Man’s sense of values.
- Kill by laughter.
- Don’t allow men to be happy… Make them think that the mere thought of a personal
desire is evil.
- Bring them to a state where saying ‘I want’ is no longer a natural right, but a shameful
admission.
- Nature allows no vacuum. Empty man’s soul – and the space is yours to fill.
- Don’t set out to raze all shrines – you’ll frighten men. Enshrine mediocrity – and the
shrines are razed.
The following analysis is designed to take these seven demagogue declarations of Ellsworth Toohey’s Fountainhead speech, which Ayn Rand crafted as his glorification of Fascism, and demonstrate how Toohey’s fascism then is irrevocably connected to the Liberal Fascism of the Democrat Socialist Party in modern times:
- Make Man feel small
Dr. Hicks states that, “Toohey has one goal: to destroy outstanding men. Toohey has no positive goal: he only wants to destroy an outstanding man.” Singlemindedness is a core strength. Democrat Socialists almost never (in any substantive way) betray the Party, which like their Communist Brothers globally, is the glorification of the STATE— “If you learn how to rule one single man’s soul, you can get the rest of mankind,” Toohey declared. One cannot rule a single man’s soul until you first convince him he is nothing special, that he is not created in the image of God, because there is no God, therefore according to Progressives, Man is a non-entity with no intrinsic or metaphysical value. In other words, to rule over the souls of men, one must first make Man feel small.” How better to achieve that Nietzschean nihilist idea of nothingness than to make men feel small.
*Note: Toohey did not say “make Man small” but to feel small. Democrat Socialist’s political power is all based on manipulating EMOTIONS. Like in the sci-fi trilogy movie, The Matrix, everything the political Left perpetrates against society is either a grand, perverted delusion designed to manipulate, distort and deconstruct your reality, or is the opposite of the proposals Democrat Socialist’s puts forth (e.g., Black people vote for the Democrat Socialist Party between 95%-100%, yet Democrat’s Nazi-like abortion policies murder Black babies (12% of the population) at 3 times the rate (36% of all abortions are Black).
Hands up, don’t abort! – Holocaust Democrat policies are always the opposite of their rhetoric. No one is smaller and more vulnerable than a pre-born baby, yet they receive the least protection from society.
- Kill Man’s sense of values
What greater or more intrinsically fundamental value can one have as a human being than that of Life as displayed in the picture above? “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness is even enshrined in our founding documents like the Declaration of Independence based on Natural Law or the integration of Law and Morals. Yet the Democrat Socialist Party through the fascist speech by Ellsworth Toohey are hellbent on killing Man’s sense of values (or connection to God via religion).
This was recently enshrined in law and public policy by the Supreme Court’s rulings in Obama’s Stalinist healthcare scheme which the Supreme Court foolishly granted constitutional legitimacy in the case King v. Burwell (2015) or President Obama’s socialist Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (APA), not only opened the floodgates to the immoral, unconstitutional Obergefell v. Hodges (2016), where the Court legalized homosexual marriage and by extension launched the Transgender movement where people are now legally allowed to change their sexuality at will and all institutions and people must comply or be punished by the law. Therefore, Christianity, churches and religious organizations all over America are under siege by these two perverted and unconstitutional decisions promoted by Holocaust Democrats whose eternal purpose, dating back to before the French Revolution (1789-99), is to destroy all of America’s Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions, brick-by-brick.
- Kill by laughter
Holocaust Democrats have for over 100 years dominated and controlled the cinema or Hollywood and its ancillary institutions, Broadway, Stand-up Comedy, Late Night Comedy and entertainment of every variety. Even the National Socialist, Adolph Hitler, a movie fanatic, well understood the infinite propaganda power of the cinema. Writer Ben Urwand in his important book – The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact with Hitler (2013), wrote that “Hollywood [circa 1930-42] is not just collaborating with Nazi Germany; it’s also collaborating with Adolf Hitler, the person and human being.” This is what I mean by Altruism slavery. This is what I mean by Holocaust Democrats shrines to slavery.
Toohey, a member of the Propaganda Press himself, well understood the power of the printed word to make the Masses laugh at what previous generations revered (i.e., God, morality, the Church, business, Natural Law, Natural rights, masculinity, Veritas). Toohey also understood that by having mediocrities (little men, apparatchiks) slander and ridicule these sacred institutions and ideas, that overtime they would be more easily infiltrated, perverted, destroyed from within.
- Don’t allow men to be happy… Make them think that the mere thought of a personal desire is evil
An existential angst and fear is presently pervasive over America, where President Obama’s Saul Alinsky fascism has replaced Ronald’s Reagan’s sunny optimism for a better tomorrow. People are taught by Holocaust Democrats and the Holocaust Media to feel guilty even if things are going good in their lives, because perhaps their neighbors have fallen on hard times. Therefore, based on Toohey’s fascist altruism logic, it is their fault necessitating the State (federal government) to do something to make everyone equal in misery. It reminds me of the Bible verse Proverbs 29: 2— When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
This dystopia also reminds me of an aphorism by Sir Winston Churchill, who personally fought Hitler and the Nazis for the lives of the British people and well understood the existential evil policies and perversion of human nature that is bred by political Socialism (=Altruism Slavery), which he calls it “a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”

Toohey’s particular Machiavellian tactics to achieve the socialist strategy are designed to make the strong doubt themselves. Toohey elaborates in detail: “There are many ways. Here’s one. Make man feel small. Make him feel guilty. Kill his aspiration and his integrity. . .. Preach selflessness. Tell man that he must live for others. Tell man that altruism is the ideal. Not a single one of them has ever achieved it and not a single one ever will. His every living instinct screams against it. But don’t you see what you accomplish? Man realizes that he’s incapable of what he’s accepted as the noblest virtue — and it gives him a sense of guilt, of sin, of his own basic unworthiness”
- Nature allows no vacuum. Empty man’s soul – and the space is yours to fill
An example, according to Dr. Stephen Hicks’s article, references a passage late in the novel when Toohey explains his philosophy to Peter Keating, who is now an empty shell of a man: “It’s only a matter of discovering the lever. If you learn how to rule one single man’s soul, you can get the rest of mankind. It’s the soul, Peter, the soul. Not whips or swords or fire or guns. That’s why the Caesars, the Attila’s, the Napoleons were fools and did not last. We will. The soul, Peter, is that which can’t be ruled. It must be broken.”
Right on cue is the Islamic terrorist group, ISIS, in their latest magazine, Dabiq has the title—Breaking the Cross, which is ISIS’s newest tactics and strategies aimed at terrorizing Christians and destroying Christianity in the Middle East and all over the world. Here ISIS and Holocaust Democrats are allies in their irrational hatred of Christians and Christianity.

History is replete with rich, powerful “Puppetmasters” behind the scenes and with Machiavellian intent pulling the strings of their moronic, mediocre puppets whom they can manipulate and control at will. For example, When President Bill Clinton, a serial sexual predator, was talking to his friend Senator Ted Kennedy, a serial sexual predator who allowed one of his sexual conquests, (Mary Jo Kopechne) to die in a watery grave at Chappaquiddick, on July 18, 1969, Clinton lamented in 2008 regarding Democrat Presidential Candidate Senator Barack Obama: “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.”

Bill Clinton was right! – The dirty little secret is that but for Obama’s puppetmasters like husband/wife terrorists, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and billionaire Socialist globalist, George Soros, and many others 40 years ago plucking this mediocrity from obscurity and concocting his elite Ivy-League education (as a C student and admitted pothead) and fabricated Obama’s storied political career while scrupulously hiding is Communist past and Barack Obama’s real father, the Communist Frank Marshall Davis.
Bill Clinton was correct, but for rich and powerful Holocaust Democrats Obama in 2008 would have been serving former President Bill Clinton and Senator Ted Kennedy coffee instead of beating Bill’s wife Hillary to become a two term president of the United States. This is exactly how the Democrat Socialist Party has always seized and wielded power for over 200 years in America – by gleefully destroying all of America’s Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions, while infiltrating their Manchurian Candidates – like Kennedy, Clinton and Obama. Ayn Rand gave us their diabolical strategy:
In a 2015 essay on the Holocaust Democrat Media I did a paraphrase of Ayn Rand’s quote above— Do not set out to destroy society – you’ll frighten men. Flood society with mediocrity men in high places – and society is destroyed.
Indeed, this is how Holocaust Democrats have always used class envy (Altruism) to erect the Shrines of Slaves.
