washington111105Continuing my trilogy of three prophets of the sexual revolution – having profiled Sigmund Freud and Margaret Mead – we now come to perhaps the most zealous and fanatical, the person who most effectively and comprehensively used the machinery of “science” (including his iconic lab coats, charts, graphs and reams of data) to hide and rationalize his Caligula-like sexual depravity, which we are only now realizing knew no boundaries due to the extreme censorship that exists to this day of “The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction” at Indiana University.

Of course, I am referring to Dr. Alfred Kinsey, whose most singular and enduring legacy is normalizing homosexuality as just another lifestyle choice in his famous book, “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male” (1948), which 20 years later would set the stage for America’s sexual revolution of the 1960s, perhaps even inspiring such societal upheavals as the Stonewall Riots in New York’s Greenwich Village, which historians believed sparked the homosexual revolution in 1969, leading to the legalization of same-sex marriage in six states to date.
