Dear Dr. Claudia Knooz:
In several essays recently I have cited your opinions conflating the Nazi concept or Nazification of German society also known as “Gleichshaltung” (e.g., ‘synchronization’, ‘coordination’, or what I prefer to translate: ‘forcing into line’) with the Republican conservative politics and policies of President Donald Trump and his MAGA Movement.
I first learned of your writings on this topic through some Slideshare slides that mentioned your name and other scholars (Dean Stroud, Tobias Schepenak) writing on the Nazi concept of Gleichshaltung. The other two scholars used the term in the context of 1930s German society without transmogrifying the term as a shameless pretext to make outrageous attacks and to gaslight one’s political enemies like you apparently like to do. Is that all you have? Republicans using a term of affection to President Trump calling him “Daddy” as equal to “extreme authoritarian dynamics. No, Republicans who have survived two terms of an actual Cultural Marxist (Barack Obama) and his V.P., who served four years before Trump in a vegetative state while the propaganda media looked the other way or lied about his mental degenerative condition (including the Academy) for four years! Thus some Republicans are so grateful to Trump for bring God back into politics and kicking out illegal immigrants so that America’s Christian values and be reinstituted in America’s institutions that calling him “Daddy” is a high honour, yea, a fait accompli.
Below I have excerpted several sections of The Guardian article from Sept. 2025 where Professor Koonz and several other Cultural Marxist historians ranted and raged against President Trump and used the vilest the reactionary Nazi policies like Gleichshaltung to defame and denounce Conservatives and the Republican Party in America.
Why didn’t the so-called Nazi Historian Professor Koontz Mention the Nazi Lebensborn Policies of the 1930s and 40s?

Lebensborn e.V. (/ˈleɪbənzˌbɔːrn/, German pronunciation: [ˈleːbənsˌbɔʁn], lit. ‘Fount of Life’) was a secret, SS-initiated, state-registered association in Nazi Germany with the stated goal of increasing the number of children born who met the Nazi standards of “racially pure” and “healthy” Aryans, based on Nazi eugenics (also called “racial hygiene” by some eugenicists). Lebensborn was established by Heinrich Himmler, and provided welfare to its mostly unmarried mothers, encouraged anonymous births by unmarried women at their maternity homes, and mediated adoption of children by likewise “racially pure” and “healthy” parents, particularly SS members and their families. The Cross of Honour of the German Mother was given to the women who bore the most Aryan children. Set up in Germany in 1935, Lebensborn expanded into several occupied European countries with Germanic populations during World War II. It included the selection of “racially worthy” orphans for adoption and care for children born from Aryan women who had been in relationships with SS members. It originally excluded children born from unions between common soldiers and foreign women, because there was no proof of “racial purity” on both sides. During the war, many children were kidnapped from their parents and judged by Aryan criteria for their suitability to be raised in Lebensborn homes and fostered by German families. At the Nuremberg trials, much direct evidence was found of the kidnapping of children by Nazi Germany during the period 1939–1945. |
The Guardian cited Professor Koonz’s vehement dislike of President Trump’s policy to encourage American women to have more children. This triggered Koonz and her band of Leftist historians to no end making them compare this Trump policy with the infamous Nazi Lebensborn policies of the 1930s (although none of these so-called “historians” cited this obvious Nazi eugenics program they were accusing President Trump of touting). This is where the Nazis became so fanatical and obsessed with increasing the Nazi populations throughout greater Germany before and during World War II (1939-45) that they literally raped young German girls en masse who attended “summer camp” thus having illegitimate pregnancies reaching levels above 95%-100% of girls ages 13-17.—
