Lenin’s ‘useful idiots’ in Manhattan
For the past month, the liberal fascist mobs have been protesting American exceptionalism, capitalism and its symbolic embodiment, Wall Street in Manhattan. These legions of largely white hippie-types, are unwashed, unshaved, unemployed, unemployable masses; prone to violence, conspicuous drug use, rantings, cursing, public defecation on police cars and promiscuous sex – yet are clueless as to what, why or who they are even protesting.
For example, some of the young liberal fascists say they are protesting Wall Street corruption, government bailouts of Wall Street, capitalism and the banking industry, yet they seem ignorant to the fact President Obama and his socialist and crony-capitalist policies are behind all of the Wall Street bailouts – TARP I, TARP II, QE1, QE2, GM/Chrysler bailouts, Obama’s green energy scams like Solyndra, First Solar, SolarReserve, SunPowerCorp. and Abengoa SA.

Wow, how amazingly bad writing and “reporting” this is. The best Ellis can do is to quote an “interview” with an Occupy member done by the Wall Street Journal?
How much time as Ellis spent walking among and talking with the Occupy movements, actually having dialogs with them? My guess: close to zero, if not actually not at all. It’s super easy to judge and hate and draw spurious conclusions from afar, but to actually get down there, meet and talk with people, have actual conversations, do the real work of reporting and thinking critically instead of demagoguing from afar.
If Ellis had done this he would know that the huge portions of the Occupy folks are interested not in the government one tidbit, but are forging networks to move beyond the old inane dichotomies of Right/Left, Conservative/Liberal, Adams/Marx, etc, etc.
For Ellis to write “These legions of largely white hippie-types, are unwashed, unshaved, unemployed, unemployable masses; prone to violence, conspicuous drug use, rantings, cursing, public defecation on police cars and promiscuous sex – yet are clueless as to what, why or who they are even protesting” is to not only reveal a profound and twisted bias, but also once again shows that he hasn’t spent any significant time (if any) among the citizens involved with the Occupy movement.
Hate is easy to peddle and profit from, but doing real reporting and being willing to dialog with and be challenged by those you don’t agree with is obviously something Ellis isn’t capable of. Considering the obvious narrowness of his world view, that isn’t surprising.
